About Me

During my tenure at Disney, I specialized in architecting immersive and intuitive experiences across AR, mobile, and wearables for global icons like Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. From leading the design development of the Neo Smart Watch to collaborating with partners like Google, Samsung, and Lenovo, I have consistently delivered products that blend technical innovation with meaningful human connection.

My journey began with a foundation in the sciences as a pre-med student at UCLA before earning my BFA with honors from LCAD. Today, I leverage that analytical rigor and my expertise in illustration and typography to build digital tools that do not simply entertain—they improve lives.

Whether leading a design team or teaching in the classroom, my goal is to create a future where technology feels intuitive, inclusive, and truly magical.

Radical Participation (The Burning Man Influence)

For years, I’ve been a participant in the Burning Man community, an environment built on the principle of "Radical Inclusion" and "Participation." In the desert, there are no spectators—only creators.

I bring this same "no spectators" ethos to my design leadership:

  • Context, Not Control: Much like a camp lead, I believe in providing the framework and the "why," then empowering my team to co-create the "how."

  • The "De-Commodified" User: I treat users as community members, not just data points. Whether designing for Disney Dreamlight Valley or a $1.5B partnership with Epic Games, my goal is to create "Third Places"—digital spaces where people feel a genuine sense of belonging.

  • Thriving in the Dust (Ambiguity): I am at my best when things are "uncomfortably exciting." I view technical constraints and shifting business goals not as roadblocks, but as creative puzzles to be solved through iteration and radical candor.
